 ➼ Himachal government will bring a white paper on the economic condition of the state
 • The Himachal Pradesh government has announced the release of a white paper on the state's economic situation.

 ➼ India on top of world ranking in digital payments
 • India tops the list of five countries in digital payments with 89.5 million transactions in 2022.
 • India will account for 46% of global real-time payments in 2022, more than the other four major countries combined.
 • Brazil ranks second on the list with 29.2 million transactions, followed by China with 17.6 million transactions.
 • Thailand and South Korea are at the fourth and fifth position in the list.

 • The CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) Jammu's cannabis research project is the first of its kind in India.

 • The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) and Israel's Ministry of Finance have completed the proof of concept phase for a digital Israeli bond traded on a dedicated blockchain platform.
 • Vikas has appointed Israel to issue the world's first digital government bond.
 • The blockchain used for the event was EVM-compatible, enabling possible integration with other blockchain solutions in the future.

 ➼ Karnataka announces free bus travel 'Shakti' scheme for women
 • The Karnataka government has launched the 'Shakti' scheme, which provides free travel to women in state-run buses.
 • The scheme is applicable only on state-run bus services in Karnataka.
 • 50% seats in ordinary and express buses of KSRTC, NWKRTC and KKRTC will be reserved for men.
