  • Lt Gen Sanjay Mitra took over as the Commander of Strike 1 Corps.
  • He is an alumnus of the National Defense Academy and the Indian Military Academy.
  • He was twice awarded the Chief of Army Staff and the General Officer Commanding in Chief Commendation Card.

  Answer – India is.

  • India topped the world ranking in digital payments.
  • India tops the list of five countries in digital payments with 89.5 million transactions in 2022.
  • India to account for 46% of global real-time payments in 2022, more than the other four major countries combined.
  • Brazil ranks second on the list with 29.2 million transactions, followed by China with 17.6 million transactions.
  • Thailand and South Korea are at the fourth and fifth position in the list.

  ➼ What is the main goal of the Cannabis Research Project?
  Ans- To produce export quality medicine for Neuropathy, Cancer and Epilepsy.

  • India's first cannabis research project to make medicine for cancer.
  • CSIR's Cannabis Research Project Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) Jammu is the first of its kind in India.
  • The project has the potential to produce export quality drugs for neuropathy, cancer and epilepsy.
  • Scientific agreement signed between CSIR-IIIM and IndusScan to develop drugs for Neuropathy, Cancer and Epilepsy.
  • The signing of the Scientific Agreement between CSIR – IIIM and IndusScan was historic not only for J&K but for the whole of India as it has the potential to produce the kind of drugs that are to be exported from abroad.
