➼ Oscar-winning actress Glenda Jackson passes away
• Two-time Oscar winner Glenda Jackson has passed away at the age of 87. In
• She won her first Best Actress Oscar for "Women in Love" (1969) and her second for "A Touch of Class" (1973).
• Ms Jackson was elected to Parliament in 1992 and became Transport Minister.
• She won the Best Actress trophy in 2018 for her role as a woman facing mortality over the age of 90 in Edward Albee's "Three Tall Women".
➼ CBIC releases National Time Release Study 2023 report
• The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) released the National Time Release Study (NTRS) 2023 report on 15 May 2023.
• Report assesses progress towards National Trade Facilitation Action Plan goals and work on reduction in release times.
• Import release time has seen a reduction of 20%, and Air Cargo Complex (ACC) release time has also seen a reduction of 11%.
